It seems like ClutchChairz used the cheapest plastic they could to hide the bolts – I have seen many better plastic materials on cheaper chairs.

The ClutchChairz Throttle Series has a relatively wide seat which goes higher and lower than most of the other chairs. This is good for people with different heights. Everything is controlled from the bottom, where you will find a knob that adjusts the rocking tension (it is large and easy to use). The padding on the seat is very large and gets thinner as you get closer to the backrest of the chair. When sitting in the chair, I did notice that there is a bar right at the back of the seat which sticks out and I can feel it while sitting. This is one thing that completely disappoints me and something I did not expect to see on a $470 chair.

Besides this, the ClutchChairz Throttle Series PewDiePie Edition is a gaming chair I would likely recommend to a friend, especially if they are a fan of the YouTuber and want to sit on the same chair that the Swedish guy sits on.I felt like I was getting a good quality chair right when I saw the box. Everything is tight, the materials are smooth. The main elements are wrapped in plastic and the tiny screws are packaged in foam.

The lines are clean and tight and there are no missing stitches that I could easily find. Made of metal, the base shows no signs of defects, too. It looks like it was powder-coated in a flat black color and is sturdy and solid.

I think that this upholstery feels pretty thick and seems to me that it will last. What I first noticed when installing the tilting mechanism was one issue with the armrests. I was unable to get them bolted up because of their closeness to each other (they were pre-assembled very close together in the factory). And the second thing is the bar that you can feel on the seat. This is maybe a bigger issue to address as it may pose a real problem to some gamers. I hope that they resolve the issue soon and add a touch more foam only to cover this bar which is visible from the photos.
